Herman Allen Jones

It is with Great Sadness that we announce the sad departure of our loved one HERMAN ALLEN JONES, age 68, of Toledo Ohio, after a sudden brief illness. Allen was born on January 16, 1957 and was one of ten children. He departed this life on July 15, 2025 at Toledo Hospital to enter into The One and Only Beautiful Place Where There Is No More Pain or Sorrow. He will be Missed Beyond Measure! Allen worked at various jobs that he held down at different periods in his lifetime. Allen had a very kind heart and giving spirit that would uplift you if needed…He always tried to stay indifferent, not wanting to be in the middle of any squabbles. His famous quote was.. “See What I’m Sayin,” but no one could say it quite like him cause his expressive way definitely make you smile. He had a sweet tooth for his tootsie rolls and if he couldn’t get them, he would do the ‘tootsie roll dance.” Allen Truly Loved his Family, his sons and his daughter and grandkids and his significant other Chiray. He had many good times with his brothers & sisters on many occasions. Allen confessed Christ at an early age. His passion and talent was he loved to play his guitars. He played in a few various bands and also played for his church band at Holiness Temple and at Restoration in Christ in which he was Lead Guitarist. Allen’s accomplishment of achieving home ownership with his partner Chiray was pure joy to him. They together built a home from the frame up, from nothing to something comfortable and cozy for them both in which made Him very Happy, Content, and Proud. Allen was what he liked to be called and in honor of him…. We (His Family) will truly Miss and Love You Always and Forever…Allen! Allen was preceded in death by his father and mother: Lonnie Charles Sr and Elizabeth Jones, Lonnie Charles Jr., and Jimmie Lee Jones. He leaves to cherish his loving memories, sons: Allen Richardson Jr., Kenneth Richardson, daughter: Lakrisha Truss, stepdaughter: Nisha Lee, brothers: Monroe (Teresa) Jones, Tony (Bridgette) Jones, Chris Jones, sisters: Carrie Jones, Catherine Jones, Teresia (Mattie) Jones, Dieatra Jones, also a host of grandchildren, great granddaughter, nieces, nephews and loving friends, and his partner and significant other Chiray of over 40 years.
