Natonya "Mookie" Morgan

Natonya Morgan, affectionately known as “Mookie,” (the nickname given to her by her aunt Rita), departed this life on April 23, 2026, at the age of 31. She was born on June 7, 1994, in Toledo, Ohio, and passed away in her home in Columbus, Ohio. She was proceeded in death by her grandfather, Joseph Morgan, and her aunts, Christina Morgan, and Anna Mae Williams. Natonya was a vibrant and creative spirit whose presence brought light, laughter, and authenticity to those who knew and loved her. She was the beloved daughter of Betty Morgan (Jesse) Tucker, and Nathaniel Morgan, both of whom survive her and cherish her memory deeply. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her two beautiful children, her son Elijah Morgan and her daughter Na’Rayiah Morgan, who were the center of her world and the greatest expressions of her love. Also, her husband, Kendrick Foreman, bonus son Kendrick (KJ) Foreman Jr., grandmother, Rebecca Morgan and her favorite cousin Ranasha Pinner. Natonya is also deeply loved by her siblings: her sisters Erica Williams and Danyelle Williams; brothers, Izell Nelson Jr. (Courtney), and Nathaniel Morgan Jr. (Lynnette). She also shared strong family bonds with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends, that will continue to live on through each of them. She received her high school diploma from Vanguard Tech Center and built a professional background in customer service and administrative work, where she was known for her diligence, warmth, and ability to connect with others. Natonya was exceptionally creative, artistic, and innovative. She had a passion for beauty and self-expression, working as a skilled nail technician and taking great pride in her hair and makeup artistry. Her love for dance was undeniable—she didn’t just enjoy dancing, she excelled at it. Her expressive nature also found purpose in Mime Ministry, using movement to convey faith, emotion, and spiritual connection. She was truly a kid at heart and didn’t think twice about having fun with the kiddos. Those who knew Natonya will remember her as lively, talented, expressive, and full of personality. Her spirit, creativity, and love will forever remain in the hearts of her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
