On November 1, 2025, as chairman of the Uplift Our Local Community Initiative of the Zeta Alpha Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated,  Kandice Saulsberry, Mangaging Funeral Director of Dale-Riggs Funeral Home and her committee recently coordinated efforts to provide winter hats and gloves for the residents of Divine Rehabilitation and Nursing of Toledo.
