She retired from the Food Town Warehouse. Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, sisters Sally Orr and Dorothy Trotter, brothers Cleon and Cleotha Burkhalter and nephew Desmond Burkhalter. She is survived by her brother Jerry Bibbs, nieces Vernice Burkhalter, Yvonne Burkhalter and Valerie Young, nephews Gus Turner, Cleon Burkhalter, George Burkhalter, and a host of other relatives and friends.
