Gloria Jean Rucker was born on September 23, 1941 in Marietta Arkansas to Arto Thomas Randall and Annie Mae Morgan. Gloria passed away quietly and peacefully in the comfort of her home in the presence of her loved ones on Monday September 28, 2020. Gloria was a loving and devoted mother, devoted wife, caring sister, and daughter. She was committed to sharing the word of God to all that she encountered. Lives were changed and transformed through her testimony. She was a caring and compassionate person and opened her door and heart to anyone that was in need. Her passion for cooking was enjoyed by all especially her up-side-down pineapple cake. She was an avid swimmer and a QVC shopping enthusiast. Her favorite segment was “In the Kitchen with Dave”. Her robust laughter and sense of humor will be missed by all of those who loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents Arto Thomas Randall and Annie Mae Morgan, her brother Elijah (Flooney) Barton. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Albert Frank Rucker; sister, Freda Randall-Owens (Charles) of Detroit, MI; sister Joanne McCullough (Bobby) of Toledo, OH, sister Debra Banks of Chicago, sister Carol Taylor (Pastor S. Taylor) of Chicago, IL; 8 children Paul Harris of Henderson, NV, Crystal Harris Darnell (David) of Toledo, OH, Morlon Harris (Rosalinda) of Temperance, MI, Michelle Harris of Toledo, OH, Walter Harris, Jr. (Tiffenie) of Corona, CA, Stephen Harris of San Diego, CA, Dennis Rucker of Toledo, MI, and Albert Rucker Jr. of Toledo, OH; 4 stepchildren, 14 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and her 2 fur babies Rocko and Little Bit. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
