Lysander "Big Dogg" and "Lasi" Townsend, 55, passed away June 21, 2012, at Mercy St. Vincent Hospital. A lifelong resident of Toledo, he attended Libbey High School where he played Football. He was a former employee of Jeep Corporation and TPS working in the Foodservice Department. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Townsend Jr.; stepbrothers, Robert and Willie Townsend, and sister, Peggy Townsend. He leaves to cherish his memory mother, Dorothy Townsend; two sons, Lysander Jr. and Levan Townsend; two daughters, Tiffany and Nicole Townsend, their mother, Darcea Miles; son, Mickey Allen; five brothers, Henry II, Lonzell, Harvey (Julia), Jeffrey and Shawn Townsend; two sisters, Berndadine Townsend and Rochelle Jackson; 9 grandchildren; two special friends, LaShanda Granger and Melba Harris, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
