Cleo B. Woodard, 88, passed away suddenly on February 2, 2012 at Mercy St. Anne's Hospital. She was born in Chattanooga, TN relocated to Toledo, OH where she graduated from Scott High School in 1941. She was employed by Martins Box Factory, Rossford Ordnance Depot, Headstart and retired from Toledo Building Services in the mid 1980's. Cleo was a longtime faithful member of Indiana Avenue Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the nurse's guild and served as treasurer. She was preceded in death by parents, Hunter and Ida McGuire Searsbrook; husband, Alton Woodard Sr.; son, Jeffery Woodard; grandson, Matthew David Winters and brother, Johnson Searsbrook. She leaves to cherish her memory children, Alton Jr., and Gary Woodard; grandchildren, Kimberly (granddaughter whom she raised since six months), Scottie and Heather Woodard, 3 great-grandchildren, Jennasis, Kouri and Malia; sister, Ruby Mitchell; daughter-in-law, Margo Woodard; special niece, Idella Reid and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday followed by wake service from 6-8 p.m. at Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service 11 a.m. Saturday at Indiana Ave. Missionary Baptist Church Rev.
