Duane Edwin Tisdale 9/14/1970 - 7/27/2010 Duane was born on September 24, 1970 in Toledo, OH to Margaret L. Tisdale. He was the older of the two children born to her. He transitioned from this life on July 27, 2010. The family resided in Rossford, Ohio. This was where Duane attended the Rossford public school system, graduating in June 1989. He confessed his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior at an early age and was baptized while attending Rossford First Baptist Church. This was under the pastorate of his Grandfather the Rev. Clyde E. Tisdale. On May 7, 2000 Duane changed his membership to Friendship Baptist Church, where he remained a member until his death. Duane also pursued a career in the Nursing home industry working at Luther Home of Mercy, Rossford Fire & Rescue and Medcorp until his health failed. On July 16, 1999 Duane married Lucy Brand. Within this marriage there were two children, daughter Modesty Johnson and son Deondre Johnson which he love very much. Duane leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Lucy; step-daughter Modesty, step-son Deondre ; Mother, Margaret L. Tisdale Sister, Rosemary Tisdale both of Rossford, OH; a host other loving relatives and friends. Wake service will be 10 a.m. Friday followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. at Friendship Baptist Church Bishop Duane C. Tisdale officiant. Burial Historic Woodlawn Cemetery.
