Bessie Davis 90 passed away February 15, 2007. A native of Morrilton ARK she moved to Toledo where she worked as a chef at the Woolworth Department Store in downtown Toledo and the Sylvania Country Club 35 years before retiring in 1956. She was a member of Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church and former president of the Missionary Society. She was preceded in death by five sisters and five brothers. Bessie is survived by daughter, Shirley A. Whisonant, 9grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 34 great great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. Wake service will be Monday 11 a.m. with funeral to follow at 12 noon at Phillips Temple C.M E Church. Rev. Chester Ricks, officiant. Interment Toledo Memorial Park.
