Ernest Cunningham Jr. 63, passed away September 2, 2007. Born in Welch, WV he has lived in Toledo since 1999. He graduated from Kimball High School in Welch and attended Cornerstone Church. He retired from General Motors Powertrain in 2001 and worked for Safeguard Security. Ernest served as a Navy Seal during the Vietnam War and also worked as a City of Detroit as a police officer. He was preceded in death by his father Ernest Cunningham Sr and Mother Ellaree Femister Cunningham, 2 sisters Carmi Cabell and Ernestine Spencer. He leaves to cherish his memory wife Josephine A. Cunningham, daughter Tiffany, son Julius, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, one brother Donald (Gwen) Cunningham and two sisters Larnette Cunningham and Lorrine C. Wallace and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Friday 4 – 7 p.m. wake services 10:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 11:00 a.m. Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel, Pastor David Banks officiate, interment will be Monday with family and friends meeting at the gate of Forest Cemetery Monday 9:45 a.m. www.dalefh.com
