Phillip R. Lawson 58, passed away February 21, 2007. A native of Pysilanti, MI, he moved to Toledo at an early age where he attended Gunckel and Stewart Elementary Schools and graduated from Scott High School in 1966. Phillip served in the Marine Corp during the Vietnam War and was a Fabricator in the automotive industry for 30 years before his illness. He enjoyed sports, walking and running in the Swan Creek Metro Park. Phillip was preceded in death by both parents. He is survived by brothers Leslie K.(Bernetta) Boyd, Daryl D. (Patricia) and Michael a. boyd, sisters Michele R. (Danny)Gregory and Lynda D.Staunton, special uncle Richard Staunton, aunt Pearley Lawson, special friends from walking group of Swan Creek Metro Parks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday with wake services Wednesday 11:00 a.m. followed by funeral services at 12:00 noon Dale-Riggs Funeral Home Chapel, Minister Leslie K. Boyd officiate, interment Historic Woodlawn Cemetery
