Darcel Dianne Henry of Toledo, Ohio was called home at the age of 53 on Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. Mrs. Henry was born in Nashville. TN, on November 11, 1953. She moved to Toledo Ohio in May of 1974 and has been a resident of Toledo for 32 years. She was married to Pastor Lawrence N. Henry of the Morning Star Baptist Church for 32 years. She was employed in jewelry sales for over twenty years. Her most recent position was held at JCPenney where she was a diligent worker and respected and loved by many. Darcel Henry, first lady of Morning Star Baptist Church was also a Mother of the church and a member of Interdenominational Minister Wives and Minister Widows. She was a very quiet and petite lady who loved her family and her church. She loved to laugh and mothered everyone she met. She only wanted to be remembered as a Virtuous Christian woman, a true wife, and a true mother to her children and grandchildren. She leaves to cherish her memory, Husband of 32 years; Pastor Lawrence N. Henry, Mother; Thelma Lee of Nashville, TN., Daughters; Demitria Henry, Quineshia Henry-Phillips (Jason), Dyschell Henry, Natreze Henry; Four Grandchildren; Dawnique (boonie), Jaschell(butt-butt), Samarius, Quintin, Parents-in-Laws; Deacon Hobert and Virgie Henry, Two Sisters-in-Law; Thelma Tisdale (Bishop Duane Tisdale), Deborah Barns (Butch Barns); One Brother-in-Law, Hobert G. Henry(Andre’nita Henry), and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be on Friday February 23, 2007 from 4-6pm at Dale-Riggs Funeral Home. Wake Service is Saturday February 24, 2007 at 10:00 am followed by funeral service at 11:00 am at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, Rev. J.L. Jordan Jr. eulogist and pastor.
