Bruce A. Armstrong, Sr. was born on June 20, 1962 to the late Fred, Sr. and Evelyn Armstrong. He departed this life on Sunday, February 18, 2007, at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Maxine E. Washington. Bruce was educated through the Toledo Public School System, graduating from Devilbiss High School in 1981. Bruce was formerly employed by the Historic Woodlawn Cemetery and the Solid Waste Division of the City of Toledo. He leaves to cherish his memory children, Nekia, Bruce, Jr., and Mariah; brothers, Fred, Jr., Keith Sr. (Sheila), and Gregory (Deborah) Hayward of Anchorage, Alaska; special niece and nephew, Delonia Armstrong and Demond Washington; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins; very special friend, Gloria Scott; special friends, Eugene “Butch” Ford (Tamica) and Steve Rankin; and a host of other relatives and kind friends.
