Cornell Ballard 55, died January 15, 2008. He was a graduate of Libbey High School in 1970 and an avid chess player and collector of Model T cars. He leaves to cherish his family two sons Brandon Cook, Kenny Ballard, three daughters Camille, Indigo, Quianna Ballard, two grandchildren Alaiy Sha Ballard and Zion Smith, three brothers David (Althea) Ballard, Thomas, and Ronald (Pastor Whitney Wellington) of Detroit, MI, one sister Jerline Stewart, best friends and caregivers Theresa Grainger and Bernard Hamilton and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
