Betty Linda Gadsden 62, passed away January 2, 2008 at Harborside Rehabilitation Center. Born in Pamplico, SC she was a 50 years member of Third Baptist Church. During her faithful membership she served on their Deaconess Board, Usher Board, nurse’s guild, willing workers and women’s council. After her training, she worked as a surgical technician at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Betty was preceded in death by her aunt and uncle Bob and Rozena Gainey, who raised her after the untimely death of her mother. She leaves to cherish her memory husband Jacob Gadsden, son Richard E. Gadsden, four grandchildren Brittni, Brandon, Breyanna and Nickolas, two stepsisters Lavonna Allen and Helen Taylor, mother in law Ethel Gadsden, sister in law Shirley Gadsden, and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
